Ivax pioneered the paper chemicals business in Indiasince 1988 by introducing chemicals that could be used for paper and paperboard making. The products helped improve the quality, reduce papermaking costs and improve the overall quality of paper and paperboard.

We have always believed, right from inception, inproviding the latest and best products to our customers at affordable prices, along with a strong technical backing. Our strength has been our R&D. We focus on constantly innovating our existing products andcontinuously adding newer chemicals to our range of products.

Ivax is also the only company in the sub continent to manufacture ASA. We manufacture ASA at our facility in Kandy, one of only two companies to do so in Asia and one amongst five companies in the world. Manufacturing products locally helps in keeping costs low. Ivax has three manufacturing facilities in India and one in Thailand. We try to remain in close vicinity of our top customers, this helps us save huge freight costs and reduce inventory at the customers’ site.

Our focus over the past few years has been on providing environment friendly products, chemicals that are 100% biodegradable and chemicals that aid recycling of paper. We have developed a range of enzymes to this effect and emulsifiers for ASA &AKD, which are 100% biodegradable.

Over the years, Ivax has grown into a leading paper chemical company globally. Our focus has been on not just manufacturing and delivering the best products but also providing additional services to our customers such as specialist application experts and consultants who can help improve the paper manufacturing process as a whole.

Ivax Flow control systems, an ancillary of Ivax Paper Chemicals, was formed to provide our customers with most modern and automated dosing equipment to feed our chemicals. These equipment apart from accurately dosing chemicals to the paper machine also help our customers reduce labor costs; handling expenses and in online process optimization.
